Well
as we all know the Rangers cannot afford a loss especially since they had a
huge win over Atlanta on Friday. The Rangers who have the dubious honor of
being one of the NHL’s worst home teams look ahead to a three game stint at the
world’s most famous arena.
Going into the Atlanta game
the Rangers knew they were up against a team who played the night before, so
the game plan was to get on them early. This is exactly what they did by
putting in three during the first period.
With Philly coming to town
the Blueshirts are in for a typical tooth and nails game. The Flyers should
have some momentum, as they were able to score twice in the last two minutes of
the third against Chicago on Saturday to win in dramatic fashion.
The Rangers had a good team
game on Friday, with two power play goals, and scoring from the guys who need
to lead this young and inconsistent team down the stretch. It will be important
for the Rangers to figure out Philadelphia as the wrap the season up with and
home and home against this Atlantic division rival.
But the million-dollar
question will be; can the Rangers win at home? They have lost 6 of their last 8
so Ranger fans have every right to be concerned.
