Rangers vs. Boston

12:30pm, TD Garden

Rangers Record: 31-31-9

Bruins Record: 31-27-12

Despite the fact that the Rangers have taken it to Boston this year winning the previous three matchups, it would not mean a thing if they can not get two-points here. It should be a matchup between two desperate teams as the Rangers try to pick up some ground and the Bruins struggle to hold Atlanta and New York on the outside.

Boston like the Rangers has continued to struggle at home, something either team can seem to figure out why. So the advantage should theoretically go the Rangers, but after the Blues visit to the Garden on Thursday Blueshirt fans are skeptical this team hasn’t packed it in already.

Lundqvist will be in net today as he has been stellar against Boston during his seven seasons in the NHL. His record is 13-3-2 with a 1.33GAA with four shutouts. But; the pressure looked like it cracked the King on Thursday and he took it pretty hard. So look for a great game from him, as he will want this win more than anyone out on the ice.

Can the Rangers beat Boston? Yes.

Will everyone on the Rangers show up and compete? Nobody knows.
