- Only Montreal and Columbus have fewer wins than the Rangers.

- Two teams have scored fewer goals than the Rangers: Edmonton and Winnipeg.

- Only Nashville is averaging fewer shots per game than the Rangers, who have managed just over 23 shots per game.  The Rangers have yielded an average of 32.3 shots against per game, sixth-most in the league.  New York has not outshot an opponent yet this season.

- The Rangers have scored only three first period goals and two second period goals; each ties them for the fewest in the league.  The Rangers have allowed only two second period goals, tied for the fewest in the league.

- Three teams have allowed fewer goals than the Rangers: Edmonton, Los Angeles and Anaheim.

- Henrik Lundqvist ranks eighth in the league with a goals against average of 1.83.  Lundqvist ranks seventh in the league with a save percentage of .942.

- New York is averaging 23 penalty minutes per game, by far the most in the league.  The Rangers have been shorthanded an average of six times per game, also the most in the league. 

- New York is one-for-23 on the power play and just two-for-46 dating back to last season. The Rangers are the only team in the NHL that hasn’t yet scored two power play goals.  Only St. Louis and Montreal have fewer than three goals on the man advantage.  Four teams already have nine goals on the pp.

- Last week the Rangers ranked first in the league in faceoff win percentage.  Seven days later, New York is ranked 15th in the league with a win percentage of 50.1%.  After starting the season 24-6 on draws, Brad Richards went just 16-27 over the last week. 

- Dan Girardi is averaging 28:39 of ice-time per game, the most in the league.  Ryan McDonagh has played an average of 25:07, which ranks 13th in the league. 

- Michael Del Zotto continues to lead the Rangers with a plus-4 rating.  Steve Eminger is a team-worst minus-3.

- After recording 11 shots on goal in the season-opener, Ryan Callahan has just 12 shots in his last five games.

- Brandon Dubinsky already has 39 penalty minutes, second in the league.  Dubinsky had 100 penalty minutes last season.

- Dubinsky, Ruslan Fedotenko, Artem Anisimov and Derek Stepan have yet to score this season.

- New York ranks 27th in the league in offense, fifth in goals against, 30th on the power play and 12th on the penalty kill.

- The NHL’s undefeated teams on the road are Philadelphia, Washington and Colorado.  Undefeated at home are Washington, Detroit and Dallas.  Winless teams on the road include Ottawa, Winnipeg, Columbus, Edmonton and the New York Islanders.  Winless teams at home include Montreal, Nashville, Columbus and Colorado.

- Seven teams have yet to play in a shootout this year.
