- Stu Bickel has four points (all assists) in three games with the Rangers.  He had four points (a goal and three assists) in 27 games with Connecticut this year.  Bickel had nine points in 54 games last season.

- Before Andrej Meszaros scored on a slap shot in the third period of Friday’s game, Henrik Lundqvist had a 193:55 shutout streak against the Flyers at Madison Square Garden dating back to February 20, 2011.  That was the longest shutout streak by a home goalie against the Flyers in franchise history.

- This is the first time the Rangers entered the Christmas break with the highest points percentage in their since the 1993-1994 campaign.  We all know how that ended.

- Marian Gaborik is the NHL’s leading goal-scorer with 21 and is on pace for 52 goals this season.  Gaborik leads the league in goals scored on the road with 13 in 18 games.

- Michael Del Zotto is a team-leading plus-22.  Del Zotto is tied for the third-best mark in the league.  Derek Stepan is next on the Rangers at plus-12.   Stepan is plus-9 in 12 December games while Del Zotto is plus-14.  Carl Hagelin is plus-9 in 15 games with New York and ranks second among rookies.

- Del Zotto has 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) in his last 14 games.

- Anton Stralman has played 20+ minutes in four of his last five games. 

- Brad Richards has just one point in his last six games after a torrid stretch in which he posted 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in nine games.

- Dan Girardi is third in the NHL with 91 blocked shots.

- Girardi leads all players in average ice-time, at 27:35 per game.

- Henrik Lundqvist ranks fourth in the NHL with a .934 save percentage.  Lundqvist is seventh in the NHL with a 2.03 goals against average.   Marty Biron has a .933 save percentage and a 1.84 goals against average.

- Ryan Callahan is fourth in the NHL with 111 hits.

- Ryan Callahan, Brandon Prust and Brad Richards are the only Rangers’ regulars with minus-ratings this season. 

- Brandon Prust is sixth in the league with 71 penalty minutes.  He is tied with Zenon Konopka for the most fighting majors in the NHL with 11.

- The Rangers are 13-0-2 when leading after two periods this season.

- No team has fewer regulation losses than the Blueshirts (8).

- The Blueshirts are on pace for 114 points.  A year ago, Washington won the Eastern Conference with 107 points.

- New York ranks third in the league in goals against per game, ninth in goals for, seventh on the penalty kill and 20th on the power play.

- New York is 10-3-2 at home this season and 11-5-2 on the road.

- Three teams have a better goal differential than New York’s +27.  The Bruins are a league-best +56.  Anaheim is a league-worst -33.

- The Rangers are 11-3-1 since recalling Carl Hagelin and John Mitchell.  New York is also 11-3-1 with Sean Avery in the lineup and 18-5-1 with Jeff Woywitka in the lineup.

- New York has 505 penalty minutes this season, fourth-most in the league.

- The Rangers have allowed just 30 goals on home ice this season, the fewest in the league.

- New York has allowed just 20 first period goals this year, second-fewest in the NHL.  But the Rangers have also scored just 18 first period goals this year, second-fewest in the NHL.

- New York has scored the NHL’s second-most goals in the second period this season (42).  They’ve also allowed the second-fewest second period goals this year (23).
