New York, NY - BLUESHIRT BULLETIN ANNOUNCES FULL RE-DESIGN AND RE-BRANDING

Blueshirt Bulletin, the Independent Monthly Magazine Covering the New York Rangers®, announced today that it will undergo a major transformation for the first time since its inception in 1991.

Complete with new logos, expanded coverage, and a completely redesigned print edition, the Blueshirt Bulletin is prepared to bring its coverage to subscribers and fans with a new modern flare.

"As the print and sports coverage landscapes have changed, it's time for Blueshirt Bulletin to keep pace," said Editor and Publisher Daniel Akeson.

"We've put a lot of work into this and are excited to unveil it to subscribers this spring."

The new logo and artwork will be unveiled at the Blueshirt Bulletin website, blueshirtbulletin.com, on Thursday May 1st, 2014 and will take effect with the May 2014 issue.

In addition to a new fresh look, Blueshirt Bulletin will also be offering a digital edition on Apple's Newsstand© service as well as Amazon© so subscribers can have the convenience and availability of mobile access.

"In 2009, we did a major website re-design that was met with positive response by our loyal readers, now we're going to take that approach with the rest of the Blueshirt Bulletin brand," added Akeson.

Subscribers can count on a few sneak peeks along the way as well as apparel offerings and subscriber-only events that are sure to unite the loyal Blueshirt Bulletin fan base and community.

"Stay tuned for some special things from Blueshirt Bulletin," said Managing Editor Will Wagner.

“It’s not simply just a magazine anymore, it’s become a tremendous community and we’re excited to take it to the next level.”

Blueshirt Bulletin, the independent monthly print and digital publication covering New York's Hockey Team was founded by former Editor and Publisher Richard Resnick, who served in that position until 2000.
With a strong history of excellent hockey coverage including unmatched prospect and minor league coverage, the current Blueshirt Bulletin staff has been behind the Zamboni-wheel since the 2009 - 2010 NHL season.  Having taken over from previous Editor and Publisher Dubi Silverstein, Daniel Akeson has looked to bring the Blueshirt Bulletin coverage into the digital age, with a newly designed website and added fan-favorite features and exclusive subscriber access.  Akeson, who has worked with terrific hockey minds such as MSG Network's Stan Fischler and the late John Halligan, has assembled a terrific team to lead the publication and website while continuing to bring exceptional coverage of all things New York Hockey.
