Blueshirt Bulletin and Steiner Sports have teamed up to offer New York Rangers fans ages 7 - 14 the chance of a lifetime, to meet elite NHL stars!
Kids should send an essay of at least 250 words on "Why I Love Hockey" to subscribers@blueshirtbulletin.com by noon September 20th, 2010. Five winners will be chosen and notified via telephone by September 22nd, 2010.
The winner and one guest will have the opportunity to attend the Hockey Fan Fest for free and meet one of several NHL superstars* including former New York Rangers Mark Messier, Adam Graves, and Brian Leetch as well as Hall of Famers Gordie Howe and Mario Lemieux.
In all, 14 stars of the ice will be on hand to meet fans at Iona College's Mulcahy Gym, beginning at 10 AM through 5 PM. Also in attendance will be Hall of Famers Brett Hull, Paul Coffey, Andy Bathgate, Harry Howell and Scotty Bowman as well as past standouts Ron Greschner, Jeremy Roenick, Chris Chelios and Head Coach of the 1994 Stanley Cup Champion New York Rangers, Mike Keenan.
Public admission is 10$ and $5 for children 12 and under. Fans will be able to purchase player autographs, win raffle prizes, participate in silent auctions, take pictures and more!
